This Privacy Policy explains what information Voice Timer collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to provide the Service, and we never sell your personal data.
Information We Collect
• Account information: when you create an account, we collect your email address or other sign-in identifier so we can authenticate you.
• Timer presets: if you enable cloud sync, the presets you create are stored on our servers so they can be backed up and synced across your devices.
• Payment information: purchases are handled by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details — Stripe does. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference to your account so we can add credits.
• Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the Service.
How We Use Information
We use this information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate you, sync your presets when cloud sync is active, process payments and apply credits, and protect against fraud and abuse.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy. Voice Timer never sees or stores your card number.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate: Stripe for payment processing, Cloudflare for hosting and data storage, and OpenRouter (Google Gemini) for text-to-speech and AI routine generation. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the Service.
Data Storage and Retention
Account data and synced presets are stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Your Choices
You can use Voice Timer entirely offline without an account. You can stop using cloud sync at any time, and you can request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. To request deletion, email us from the address associated with your account.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
